Operational Policy

Fees and Payment Instructions
Session appointments last up to 60 minutes unless contracted otherwise.
Additional stand-alone appointments can be scheduled as needed. There is a minimum of 48 hours notice for these - that means that payment must be made at leats 48 hours ahead of the scheduled time to secure your booking.
If you need to reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Scheduling
Please let me know if you are running late. Likewise, I will let you know if I am running late. If you are running late and have not made contact I will make efforts to contact you to check whether you are ok and are going to attend.
Our sessions take place on a one-to-one basis. Bringing babies, children, dogs and other pets (apart from assistance dogs e.g., guide dogs) or people to accompany you in-session is not permitted. As stated, if a friend has accompanied you then they are permitted to hear the contract with you but will then need to leave so that we can continue on a one-to-one basis.
Attending a session under the influence of drugs or alcohol is not permitted. This is because:
a) you may behave out of character
b) it is a waste of a session because you may not remember much of what would have happened during the session.
All of your emotions are welcome, including anger, as long as it is not directed personally at me. You are allowed to swear during sessions for emphasis.
Bringing any kind of poison or offensive weapon with you to session is not permitted.
Personally directed physical or verbal attacks are not permitted.
Cancellation Policy – Session Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
This is to allow suitable time for rescheduling without charge.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours advance notice will be charged at the full fee for the session appointment.
This is the case for both face-to-face and for online therapeutic-coaching.
If we are working online, if you have made payment for a session but are unable to meet at the appointed time I will retain the fee for the session unless we have experienced a technological breakdown, which is beyond our control and which prevents us meeting online or exchanging emails.
In the case of an outage we will attempt the option of continuing the session via phone, on the phone number that you are asked to provide as a part of your intake information.
1:1 Appointments
In 1:1 sessions we will work on an individual, on-to-one basis.
This means that other people are not permitted to attend a session with you, or remain in the room off-camera where you are joining the sessions from.
It is not permissible to publicise the content of our exchanges or share them with a third party.
If working online, I can provide a space for me to work from that is private and confidential, free from interruption. You will need to find a similarly private and confidential space to work from, free from distractions and interruption from other adults, children or disruptive pets.
Whether working face-to-face or online, please let me know of any accessibility or mobility needs you have in advance so that I can take these into account and cater for your needs to the best of my abilities.
Services
The services to be provided by the coach to the client are face-to-face or online transformational therapeutic-coaching, as agreed jointly with the client.
Coaching may address specific personal projects, business successes, or general conditions in the client's life or profession.
Other coaching services include value clarification, brainstorming, identifying plans of action, examining modes of operating in life, asking clarifying questions, and making empowering requests or suggestions for action. Throughout the working relationship, the therapeutic-coach will engage in and facilitate personal conversations.
The client understands that successful coaching requires a co-active collaborative approach between client and coach.
In the coaching relationship, the coach plays the role of a facilitator of change, but it is the client's responsibility to enact or bring about the change. If the client believes the coaching is not working as desired, the client will communicate and take action to return the power to the therapeutic- coaching relationship.
